While many of the items regarding security and protection of information are already covered in your HIPAA Compliance plan, these OIG regulations call for additional policies in place to detect and/or try to prevent identity theft and preserve the integrity of our medical records.

The object of this training session is to provide effective compliance and prepare staff members in the techniques of proper identification of individuals presenting for our care to prevent any incident of medical identity theft.
